As a float pool nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple world-renowned specialties to deliver hope and healing to patients from around the world in some of our most high acuity areas.This role supports the NYP/Weill Cornell Medical Center Critical Care inpatient units including the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuroscience ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Step-Down Units and more. Nurses in this dynamic role support the state-of-the-art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns by recovering post-Cesarean Section and post-procedural obstetrical patients in the PACU and by playing a critical role in maternal emergency response.You’ll have the freedom to explore new specialties and experiences in your nursing career and gain exposure to a broad range of challenges on our highly specialized units. This position offers experience, education, float pool and night shift differential on top of your base pay.

Preferred CriteriaMinimum two years’ experience as a Critical Care RN, SDU experience and Cardiac Surgical experienceExperience with caring for Post-Cesarean Section patients/ Obstetrical emergenciesRequired CriteriaBachelor’s Degree in NursingCurrent NYS RN licensureBCLS and ACLS certificationProven experience to work autonomously in high pressure situationsJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
