Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

CT Tech needed asapAccepts first time TravelersPrefer 1 year experience or moreCare areas: ED, Outpatient, InpatientPrimarily Adult/Geriatrics with some PedsOutpatient: Oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, traumaBiopsies (experience not required – will train)Required Licensure and Certifications:BLSARRT (R) & (CT) requiredME State licenseSkills required:CTA studies, Experience with general studiesIV start skills (preferred)Biopsy exp (preferred)Experience with Toshiba and GE (preferred)Technology/Equipment:EMR: CernerPACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFAEquipment used:Toshiba Aquilion 64 & GE 16 slice PET CT (used as backup CT machine) – experience preferred with Toshiba & GE but not requiredScrub Color: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if neededParking: Free

Facility LocationPresque Isle is the largest town in Maine’s northernmost county and the starting point for the world’s largest scale model of the solar system. The Double Eagle II in 1978, a hot air balloon took off from Presque Ile and landed roughly 137 hours later in Misery, France, making it the first hot air balloon to cross the Atlantic. Maine is famous for its restaurants and outdoor sports such as snowmobiles, fishing, hunting and mountain biking.
