We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to be the systems expert and managing the Windows / Citrix environment delivery to completion and ensure hand-off to necessary support teams. You will report to the Vice President of Digital Workplace

The Opportunity:

The Senior Systems Engineer designs aspects of large-scale projects and engineers, tests, documents, and deploys systems infrastructure solutions. You will manage technical aspects of assigned projects, including planning and resolving issues. You will work independently to provide technical solutions to solve complex challenges for both IT-facing and business-facing customers. You will also ensure the successful implementation of technology projects by working with Solutions Architecture, Operations, Information Security, and other departments. We are looking for end-to-end ownership to prevent and solve Citrix Systems and End Point issues, anticipate and avoid problems and identify the areas for improvements. You will lead the effort in standardizing processes, streamlining and making processes simple while providing technical escalation point for production support during normal business and off-hours.

The Day-to-Day:Lead with a team of systems & application delivery engineers in daily support of current environment with a goal of continually improving the end- user experienceMust have extensive experience in large-scale Citrix environments (preferably VDI) where reliability and performance are paramountAssist team with support of enterprise applications and software in the various end-user environments (i.e. local operating system and VDI)Research and testing solutions to application technical issues, including using scripting methods to automateHelp resolve escalated incidents and participate in problem management activitiesWork in collaboration with other members of the IT Department to solve more complex user technical problems related to desktop computing and applicationsProvides feedback to Engineering regarding product quality, documentation & potential areas of training and product improvement across multiple productsConfiguring, managing, and troubleshooting issues with Windows and Citrix serversImplements applications and virtual desktop solutions using the entire Citrix portfolio (XenApp, XenDesktop)XenDesktop & XenApp Experience upgrading and patching the Citrix and Windows environments to meet security, audit and business requirementsExperience with Windows Systems Management and Patch management Technologies (SCCM, Group Policy and WSUS)Qualifications:10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering (Citrix Focused)Experience in following technologies required: VDI, Mobility, Citrix, or Collaboration solutions including Cloud-based productivity applications like Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDriveDemonstrated experience developing and executing technology roadmaps and delivering measurable improvementsExperience implementing and managing end-point operational analytics and end-user experience monitoring solutionsExperience working with Procurement and Service Desk teams to insure license compliancePrioritize user community satisfaction and feedback in meeting the business demandsDemonstrated experience improving end-user experience from a hardware and access perspectiveCompensation:$130,000 - $145,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experienceEligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performanceWhy Fisher Investments:
