We are seeking a full-time Vascular Access Nurse for The Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.**12 hour day shift w/weekend rotation** 8:00am-8:00pmThe Vascular Access Nurses independently place PICC and midline catheters with the Arrow Vein Positioning System "Blue Bullseye" and Bard Sherlock positioning device. The Vascular Access Nurse places lines in both the adult and pediatric populations. Candidates for this position must have experience placing PICC (peripherally inserted central catheters) lines.

-Education: Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

-BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required-Board Certification in Vascular Access (VA-BC) within 1 year of release from orientation.-RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN-Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills-Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others-Proficient computer skills requiredFor internal use only: #LI-KA1 IND1 date.Inova Job ID #661493.
