Role Summary:
A Car Wash Porter is responsible for cleaning vehicles according to Optima Dealer Services Standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Wash and clean all vehicles in compliance will all Company Standards and client requests. Perform the Car Wash Tunnel Procedure as needed. The washing process includes Exterior Wash and Exterior drying, Interior and exterior windows cleaning, interior vacuum, wiping down dashboards and cup holders, and tire shining application. Moving, parking vehicles, and delivering vehicles to the correct location The washing process includes outside wash, outside drying, windows cleaning inside and out, interior vacuum, dashboard, and cup holders wipe down, and tire shining application. Always double-check your work after finished to ensure the vehicle is clean. All Vehicles must pass Quality Control. If the vehicle is not properly washed or Clean, please inform Car Wash Manager Immediately to have it redone up to Optima Dealer Services Standards. When available, help keep our Dealership Clean. Properly handle products and wash towels. Always follow safety procedures, such as wearing non-slip shoes, Goggles (Clear Glasses), earplugs, Gloves, proper handling of chemicals and being aware of Potential Hazards. Inform Management when your daily Task is completed, and all the Cars are washed at the end of your shift. Salary Requirements:
$19.00- $20.00

Skills and Qualifications:
Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond. Highly responsible, professional, and reliable. Unrestricted California driver's license and clean driving record. Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles. Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces . Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus. Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and team members. Strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments. Friendly with high energy and the willingness to go above and beyond.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This role requires the use of common hand-held cleaning tools and a power washing nozzle gun that will be rotated between Car Wash Porters to avoid injuries.
Safety Hazards Protocol and Disclosure for all Car Wash Porters
Safety is our priority. While the car wash is in operation there are several potential hazards that employees need to be aware of and react appropriately towards. Firstly, no vehicle should be directed into a car wash before it is checked whether anyone is walking across or in the area. Employees should keep eye contact with drivers when walking in front of their vehicles and keep a safe distance when walking behind them. Employees should neither touch the car once it is moving through the car wash or touch moving parts inside the tunnel. Care should be taken not to leave anything in the tunnel that a car could run over or could get wrapped up in moving equipment. No employees should cross the track to prepare a vehicle while it is rolling down the conveyor or for any other reason during the wash process. Hands and feet should be kept free of the roller doors that open and close at the front and rear of a tunnel. event of a problem, the emergency stop button is located inside the tunnel.
