About the Position:
Our company is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operator. The forklift operator is responsible for the safe operating and managing power industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Identifying damages and reports shortages or quality deficiencies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Wrap pallets by hand to ensure stabilityRestocks and puts product away carefully and safelyResponsible for the cleanliness of all work areasCommunicates stock needs and discrepancies to appropriate personnelCommunicates challenges inhibiting accurate and timely order pulling processResponsible for participating in yearly inventory as requiredAbility to listen effectively and follow instructionsRegular and predictable attendance, safely performing tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.Strong organizational skillsOther duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededQualifications
