Wenger Corporation is seeking a

Material Handler

to distribute product in a safe, timely manner within and among all assigned areas in a manner that expedites production and contributes to the consistent achievement of established quality and quantity standards.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Reviews the week's production schedules for areas assigned in order to plan the best use of available time for production support and anticipate possible bottlenecks before they occurConfers with production team, Cell Leads on a regular basis to help ensure the highest level of production support possible, making changes in the material handling schedules as directedMaintains records, lists and notations that are required to complete assigned duties and responsibilities in an accurate and timely mannerDevelops and maintains a thorough working knowledge of materials locations, and continually reviews location information or maps as requiredProvides direction to others as required or requested on safe, proper methods of loading, unloading and transporting materialsInforms a Cell Lead of questions and/or problems with completing assigned duties, making suggestions to minimize future problemsComplete inventory transactions in business management systemsMaintains accurate inventory locations and qualities and will be involved with the weekly cycle countsContributes to a cooperative work effort through performance of assigned duties in an accurate and timely mannerPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requestedPreferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of parts, materials, and material handling processes established for areas assigned typically learned from at least six to nine (6-9) months experienceSkill and ability to work in assigned area(s) under only general supervisionFamiliarity with scanning devicesPrevious forklift experience with the ability to obtain a valid license through Wenger Corporation
