The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Material Handler for our Boone, IA location. This role assists in the preparation and shipment of agricultural related products, receiving and stocking warehouse inventory and merchandise

The Team:

The Material Handler role is based out of the Boone, IA warehouse and reports to the Branch Manager for Ag Growth's Portable Grain Handling Products.

Responsibilities:

•Utilize written pick-lists to prepare and package shipments, including pulling inventory from Warehouse shelving, racking, or outdoor stock lot•Prepare shipping documents per the details on the pick list, as well as create shipping labels and/or load manifests•Prepare shipment quotations and estimates•Receive shipments from vendors and suppliers and document incoming product•Assists and works closely with the branch Inventory Support Associate to process incoming shipments, including boxing, wrapping, or bagging parts, and/or stocking parts onto shelving and racking•Assist Inventory Support Associate with inventory audits and cycle counts•Re-box/re-crate products as needed•Refurbish damaged or aged products when possible (report product that is not compliant)•Keep work environment in a safe, clean, organized, and orderly fashion•Assist with ordering/restocking packaging and departmental materials/supplies•Assist the Assembly Department if daily duties are completed (when directed by the Branch Manager)•Perform additional related duties as requested or required

Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent required. General knowledge of warehouse operations preferred.•Previous LTL or small package/parcel shipping experience preferred•Personal computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel•Six months forklift experience is preferred (minimum is the ability and desire to learn)•Able to work efficiently and accurately at a fast pace
