Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT)

StartDate: 10/7/2024Available Shifts: 8 DPay Rate: $2300.00 - $2650.00

MT/ MLT needed asapRequired - Reading/reporting gram stains, GeneXpert, blood cultures, microbiology specimen processing.Preferred - other microbiology experience including setting up microbiology susceptibilities on automated instruments.Medical Technologist - Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science and successful completion of an approved Medical Technology internship program, ORMedical Laboratory Technician - High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited college or university and completion of a clinical laboratory internship preferred.Certification/Licensure:Certified as an MT/MLS or MLT by one of the National Commission of Health Certifying Agencies or by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health Laboratories Branch.State license as a Technologist or Technician.Skills:Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.Excellent customer service skills.
