Monday - Friday / 1:30pm to 10:00pm
PAY:
$19.25 Hourly

Coordinate and prioritize the operations tasks directed by the department Supervisor and/or LeadWill operate the Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Double EPJ and/or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materialsCommunicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirementsCommunicate with all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, delivery drivers and front-line employeesPrepare duty-related paperworkEscalate work-related and interpersonal issues to leadership as neededPerform quality checks and report failures to supervisor/leadHandle any minor tasks related to duties of the positionFollow health, safety, and cleanliness standardsExcellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly roleMATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School Diploma/GED preferredMust have at least 1 year of continuance and current experience operating a Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Double EPJExperience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferredOrder picking/selector experienceExperience with refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferredAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends and different work schedulesAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to balance productivity, quality, and safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong Organizational, Interpersonal & Multitasking SkillsAbility to work under pressureMATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally.This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment
(between 35 and -20 degrees Fahrenheit)
located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility. Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for duration of shift.Universal Pure facilities may process, pack, and or store products containing allergenic food ingredients as referenced by FDA, team members who may come in direct contact, must be able to work with these ingredients.
