This position is responsible for accurately receiving all components that come into the facility, guaranteeing all documents, parts, and components match POs, and all system work required to receive all items in our system. This position is also responsible for effectively preserving, packaging, and shipping all parts and products in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in the Shipping/Receiving Department SOP's. The Materials Handler reports to the Operations Manager. Essential ResponsibilitiesReceiveand shipall materials to and from the Service Center facilityEnsuretimeliness, proper preservation, and satisfactory packaging or boxing of all materials to be shippedVerifysatisfactory completion of all customer-required details such as markings, documents and carriersMaintaincustomer satisfaction for timeliness of deliveryEnsureall work methods conform with company rules and regulations, attendance policies, variations, and safety proceduresMeetrequired levels of productivity, quality, and through-putPerformother duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMust be able to use tools such as band saws jig saws, nail guns, and other hand tools required to perform shipment of large items that may require palletizing or cratingMust be able to build a wooden crateIntermediate computer skillsOperate powered industrial lift (fork truck)Operate an overhead craneThis full-time position is eligible to participate in the company's short-term incentive program, paid time off plan, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
