Daikin Applied is now hiring a full-time Material Handler with a focus on Inventory in our Dayton, OH Distribution Center.
1st shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Starting pay - $18+ DOE
$500 Sign-On Bonus*
Summary: Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

Executes replenishment plan but fulfilling restock tasksSupports Inventory Analyst in slotting and consolidation effortsAble to backfill Inventory ControlAble to operate all Material Handling Equipment in the facilityAbility to backfill in various roles through out the facilityCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production
sheetAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or containersPacks and prepares cartons for shipping to customers. Ensures accuracy of order and security of
packaging to avoid damage in shipmentSecure certain larger items in crates, either by building from scratch or using an empty crate on
handUse crate shop equipment when required. Such as table saws, nail gun and staple gunOther duties as assignedQualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required1 year of Industrial Vehicle operating experience preferred
