Are you ready to go beyond?We have an exciting onsite opportunity for a Senior Manager, Finance Controller!What You Will Do:The Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Module Center Finance Organization is seeking a dynamic Controller to support the production of Turbine Airfoil hardware at our Pratt & Whitney Amercon facility in Middletown, Pennsylvania.P&W Amercon is part of the Hot Section Module Center (HSMC) organization, along with facilities in East Hartford, Connecticut and Middletown, New York. The P&W Amercon Controller position is in Middletown, Pennsylvania, and is responsible for providing a broad range of financial support to the local site’s organization, in addition to the larger East Hartford site.This position in Operations Finance puts you close to the product, understanding how Pratt & Whitney chooses to source and/or to manufacture our product within our world class factories. The position offers great exposure to our factory environment and everything that goes along with delivering some of the most advanced aerospace parts in the industry. This role is part of the local P&W Amercon leadership team and offers exposure to senior shop leadership while also allowing you to interact with numerous organizations across Pratt & Whitney; Finance, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Programs, Planning, as well as the factory and cell floor leads within Operations.Provide direct financial support and daily reporting for the P&W Amercon team in PennsylvaniaOwnership of the monthly shop forecast process, working closely with the Amercon General Manager, including aged inventory reserves, cost per hour, shop workload, and manpower planningManage and track shop performance against forecasted key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide weekly status updates to Operations Leadership teamDrive process improvement in the monthly and annual forecasting processesProactively develop risks and opportunities with Operations leadership, and ensure timely communication to the HSMC Operations finance teamAct as business leader for P&W Amercon Operations in providing financial and strategic guidance on efforts related to shop volume, manpower planning, labor metrics, operating expenses, cost per hour, inventory accrual burndown and part costLead the annual and long-range plan forecasting processes at P&W Amercon for aged inventory reserves, cost per hour, shop workload, and manpower planningDevelop tools and processes to manage monthly operating expenses, and drive ownership with GM / Operations teamDevelop tools to automate processes, not limited to daily and monthly reporting, utilizing DT solutions such as Power BI or QlikEvaluate capital investment projects to ensure the business cases reflect cost savings and achieve target Return On Investment.Partner with Global Supply Chain on make/buy financial analysis and recommendations for sourcing decisionsProvide financial support and analysis on all Hot Section Module Center cost reduction projects in support of NGPF and F135 War on Cost activitiesMonitoring and oversight of Pratt & Whitney ethics and internal control policies (Sarbanes Oxley, P&W Standard Procedures, RTX Code of Ethics) to ensure 100% complianceQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 10+ years of experience in finance; OR Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 7+ years of experience in financeMust be a U.S. Citizen – this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenshipQualifications We Prefer:Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teamsSelf-starter who enjoys a dynamic work environmentHighly adaptable team player with excellent interpersonal skillsWell organized person, able to plan, forecast, and track progress and to use written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business objectivesProficiency or previous experience with Excel, SAP, HFM and Business WarehouseLearn More & Apply Now:In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
