Job Duties:
Overall coordination of department ACGME Accredited Programs: IR Integrated Residency, IR Independent Residency, Nuclear Medicine Residency and Neuroradiology Fellowship Program. Provide general educational administrative support for overall Radiology ACGME accredited programs. Update website. Make changes as requested and verify accurate information is displayed for recruitment season. 30%
Organize Residency recruitment happy hours, set up recruitment schedules, facilitate candidates, ERAS, coordinate ranking meetings and submit final ranking list to NRMP. Implement and coordinate the application and interview process for assigned programs. Attend at least one national meeting related to residency/fellowship coordinating per year. Organize ordering of gift cards and gift boxes for recruitment season; includes all communications with vendor and Program Directors. Supply all applicant addresses and coordinate mailing dates and gift box contents. 20%
Maintain compliance with accreditation guidelines at all times for each assigned program. Assists with the end-of-year process; tabulates and reports data for surveys, questionnaires and other forms and documents required by internal and external agencies. Collect necessary information for developing appropriate database analysis tools to meet current ACGME requirements, maintain necessary documentation for ACGME Milestone requirements to include coordination of Clinical Competency Committee (CCC) and Program Evaluation Committee (PEC). 20%
Serves as program liaison to the Graduate Medical Office for the Department of Radiology and Radiological Science by managing assigned programs. Correspond with applicants and compile required documentation; work with GME Office to implement the incoming resident orientation process. Succinctly communicate needs of programs and its residents/fellows. Coordinate all necessary arrangements for the residents/fellows' schedules. Work with the Vice Chair for Education, Program Directors, and GME office, for a rapid solution to any dispute. Attends monthly coordinator's meeting to stay informed. 10%
Collaboratively works with Program Directors regarding the administration and scheduling of assigned Residents/Fellows. Ensure that the activities of the residents and fellows meet the needs for training and accreditation, monitoring resident progress . Familiar with a variety of field concepts, assist with recruiting, practices, and procedures. 5%
Educational liaison for Nuclear Cardiology fellows. Collaboratively work with the Cardiology Program Coordinator to ensure fellows receive Physics lectures after starting fellowship, give them direction on Nuclear Cardiology certification requirements. Maintain documentation of their training and verify that all training that is required to receive nuclear Cardiology certification training is completed (with and without COCATS II). Manage scheduling of Cardiology fellows and Radiology residents for Triad pharmacy tours. 5%
Work with the education team to create to collaborative mindset amongst our programs as student's transition to residents. Serve as backup to other radiology education team members. 5%
Complete any other items as assigned to keep the department running smoothly. 5%
