Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours for 4-12 hour shifts Experience: 1 year required (2 years preferred) License: Must have a valid MA state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Cerner experience required- MS/Tele and/or Tele experience required Job Description: - Work in an ortho/tele medical-surgical unit focusing on orthopedics, general surgeries, and floor-level medical-surgical patients, including insulin drips.- Provide care for 18+ adults in a 40-bed unit.- Be available to work every other weekend as required.- Respond to cardiac monitoring and emergencies.- Provide care with a focus on endocrine/metabolic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary/renal, IV therapy/phlebotomy, CVA/pre/post-neurosurgery, total joint replacements, plastics, and respiratory.- Manage therapies involving heparin and PCA.- Flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs.- Open to accommodating block schedule assignments.
