Client Support Services (CSS) is comprised of global service teams who are assigned to specific client accounts to handle contracts, claims and accounting. We are currently seeking candidates for the following position located on a hybrid basis in out New York or Philadelphia office. What can you expect? The VP, Transactional Services is responsible for technical processing of premium for specifically assigned client accounts ensuring strict compliance with Guy Carpenter's operational guidelines. You will handle settlement of funds to and from Client in a timely manner in order to ensure all applicable contractual payment terms; warranties and/or conditions are met. Communication with Brokers, Clients and Reinsurers to ensure exceptional client service standards are achieved. We will count on you to: Advise individuals to assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communications to resolve difficult questions and secure reinsurer agreements and payments of claims and account balances. Authorize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other system tools to manage sometimes complex transactional processes and ensure assigned tasks are managed effectively and in a timely manner ensuring Client measurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to; in order to provide services in an efficient, effective and regulatory compliant manner. Interface during team and department meetings and activities to share opinions, ideas, knowledge and solutions, and provides inputs for the evolution of the operational model at all levels of the organization in order to promote new process improvement ideas that leverage technology solutions. Consult on accounting/claims process for Request For Proposal (RFP) and sales opportunities in order to drive business growth. Handles settlement of funds to and from Client in timely manner in order to ensure all applicable contractual payment terms; warranties and/or conditions are met. Develop strategy to carry out reinsurance audit/reviews with clients and reinsurers and review open claims and/or premium activity, reconcile records in order to facilitate the review/audit process to ensure process quality. Counsel peers on difficult or contentious reinsurance developments, supporting and providing training, mentoring and guidance within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with trouble shooting and to develop team resources. What you need to have: B.S. or B.A. degree in accounting, finance or related field 5 years of reinsurance/insurance, accounting/claims or professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) What makes you stand out: Knowledge of reinsurance concepts and principles, laws and regulatory requirements (i.e., FATCA, etc.) Strong track record of successful Client account management, relationship management, engagement and development. Excellent verbal and writing skills for complex communications (presentations, negotiations, etc.) with clients, markets and GC colleagues at all levels. LI-KS1 reinsurance The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,700 to $171,400. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
