Laboratory Assistant $16.00-23.50; Senior Laboratory Assistant $17.00-25.50; Pathology Technician $23.50-36.00Union Position: NoDepartment DetailsThis position is an 830-5 shift in the clinic setting with obligation to work every third weekend in the hospital.SummaryResponsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.Job DescriptionAssists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
