The Index Research Specialist - Retail Investor Strategist is responsible for driving the development and execution of our content strategy tailored to retail investors. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that educates and empowers individual investors to make informed decisions about their finances and investments. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and passion for financial education will be instrumental in shaping our content initiatives and fostering meaningful connections with our audience.

Content Strategy Development: Lead the development of a comprehensive content strategy designed to resonate with retail investors. Define key objectives, target audience segments, content themes, and distribution channels to drive engagement and brand awareness.Content Creation: Conceptualize, create, and curate compelling content across various formats, including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, podcasts, and social media posts. Develop content that simplifies complex financial concepts, provides differentiated investment insights, and addresses common questions and concerns of retail investors.Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all content adheres to relevant compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and approve content materials, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with regulatory guidelines.Investment Research: Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities across various asset classes. Conduct in-depth research and due diligence on investment areas that resonate with retail clients.Partner Strategically with Nasdaq Index Research: Collaborate with your colleagues to advance broader team purpose of providing industry-leading thought leadership - both written and spoken - to drive continued growth in Nasdaq's Global Index business across hundreds of licensed index products. This can include live presentations at industry conferences, on webcasts, and miscellaneous client engagements. Contribute, as needed, to white papers and research reports supporting individual Nasdaq indexes.Education Required: Degree qualified in Business/Finance or related disciplineExperience Required: At least 5 yearsStrong writing and analytical skills with sharp attention to detail.Knowledge of the competitive landscape and the trends in the index business.Excellent presentation and speaking skills alongside a comfort and desire to represent Nasdaq publicly.Ability to travel across the US on occasion.

The base pay range for this role is $85,000 - $148,100. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
