Title: Data Intelligence Associate

Reporting to: Director of Data Initiatives

Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

Overview:

Are you passionate about data? Join our growing Data Intelligence team! In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the integrity of divisional data. Your responsibilities will span data management, collection, validation, and developing strategies to resolve data quality issues. We're looking for individuals who are eager to make an impact with data. This role is situated in Topeka, Kansas, and it is exclusively an on-site arrangement. Moreover, please note that the company does not extend sponsorship opportunities.

What you'll do:

Collaborate with one or two divisions to understand and address data challengesMaster the use of various domain-specific applicationsParticipate in data governance meetings to identify and resolve key data concernsDevelop and implement policies and procedures based on divisional needsRegularly monitor and maintain data integrityUphold data governance standards for consistency and compliancePerform data entry of large datasets in line with divisional requirementsCollect data for Analysts to analyze and evaluateValidate data according to departmental needsCreate standard operating procedure guides for standardized data processesExperience you'll bring:

Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDemonstrated ability in managing project-based work with a focus on delivering resultsAbility to efficiently clean and validate large datasets (100,000+ rows)1-2 years of experience with Excel and Power BI (Intermediate level) and familiarity with other data toolsFoundational knowledge of data management, cleansing, and governanceAptitude for technology with ability to quickly learn and adapt to carious data applicationsBonus Points:

Financial service experience with an understanding of related productsExperience with data visualization toolsFamiliarity with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, RStudio, Python, and Power AutomateExperience with Salesforce Financial Services CloudBachelor's degree (or working towards one) in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related fieldBasic knowledge of machine learning conceptsWhat you'll get:
