This role is full-tim e, varied hours of 6:00a-4:30p & 9:00a-7:30p with on-call rotation (1-2 week & 1 weekend per month - no more than 10 call shifts every 6 week). Responsibilities: - Formulates individualized plans of care for patients with complex needs to achieve desired outcomes. Collaborates and assists with procedure set up. - Communicates effectively and seeks out opportunities to improve communication among healthcare team members, patients and families. - Actively participates as a member of the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team and committees. - May serve as charge nurse by coordinating staff/surgery schedules and handling daily issues with positive outcomes. - Serves as lead, role model, clinical resource and mentor to the team. Evaluates staff on practice delivery and recommends additional education if needed. Assesses learning needs and helps to facilitate appropriate training. Collaborates with team members in the development and implementation of education plans.
