Nurse Practitioner (Women’s Health) OR Midwife Freeport NY (S Shore of LI)Outpatient coverage onlyWe are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Midwife to join our practice full time in the Freeport, NY Long Island area. The incoming nurse practitioner/midwife must be compassionate, an excellent clinician, and someone who is experienced in women’s health. We offer a variety of services within our multispecialty group, and the incoming Nurse practitioner/Midwife will be focusing on women’s health.
Must be bilingual (Spanish/English).
We have multiple locations throughout Long Island, and the incoming provider may be covering multiple outpatient locations.

Duties:
Patient exam/evaluations (physical exam, review pertinent medical history/records/imaging) Annual wellness examOrder/review diagnostic testing/labs/bloodworkPerform Pap smears, preferred Colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, removal of IUDDiagnosis and Treatment plan formulationPatient education re: diagnosis, treatment plan options and lifestyle modificationsTreatments for acute and chronic conditionsDocumentation- timely and accurateCollaboration with the MDs and staff for comprehensive patient careMake phone calls/emails as needed or required for patient careMedication refills as neededRequirements:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Midwife programNurse Practitioner/Midwife license in NYWomen’s health experience requiredMust be bilingual (Spanish/English)Schedule:
Full timeCompensation (range):
$70-$90/hour (depending on experience and training/certifications)Benefits:
