About the Team & Role:

We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy IT Intern to join our IT team for an unpaid three month internship. This is an excellent opportunity for students with a foundational understanding of IT systems—particularly Active Directory and Microsoft 365—to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Learn:

• Learn and assist with tracking IT hardware and software: Understand the basics of inventory management and asset tracking, including how to log and monitor IT equipment and software licenses.
• Explore SharePoint functionalities: Gain hands-on experience with SharePoint, focusing on refining its features, managing distribution lists, and shared mailboxes.
• Understand data consistency in spreadsheets: Learn how to align and maintain spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency in coordination with ERP systems.
• Familiarize with Microsoft 365 policies: Help implement and understand Microsoft 365 policies, including exploring automation tools and system efficiencies.
• Collaborate with IT staff: Work alongside IT professionals to support daily operations and handle ad-hoc technical tasks.
• Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure: Get practical experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Exposure to real-world business technology challenges: Encounter and learn to solve real-world business technology issues.
• Mentorship from experienced IT professionals: Receive guidance and mentorship from seasoned IT experts.

What You Bring:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Basic understanding of SharePoint , distribution lists, and shared mailboxes.
• Familiarity with Excel and its integration with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or database systems.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.

This is a for academic credit internship. Applicants must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field and eligible for academic credit. The internship will focus on hands on learning opportunities to gain exposure to a dynamic IT function in a startup environment.
