Overview
Urban, Ltd. is seeking current Civil Engineering majors for Summer 2025 paid internships in our Annandale & Chantilly, Virginia offices. Internship duration and schedule can be tailored to fit the qualified individual's needs. Successful senior or graduate-level interns have often transitioned to a full-time Project Engineer position and increased compensation without further interviews or hiring processes upon graduation.
Daily responsibilities will include: Learn the site development process as a member of a civil engineering team Perform civil engineering design and calculations as they relate to site development and transportation projects Provide support to design teams in the completion of civil engineering construction documents Prepare exhibits, details, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, GIS, or other software noted below
Requirements/Preferences: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's level program in Civil Engineering Ability to work in one of our offices full-time during the summer of 2025 Prior internships or coursework related to land development is a plus
Desired Computer Skills: AutoCAD and Civil3D Microsoft Office
