Job Description Designing APIs in collaboration with the API development teams, ensuring adherence to API specification standards. Mentoring API developers and designing API Gateway configurations. Reviewing detailed designs to ensure security, scalability, reliability, optimal end-user experience, and effective business reports and analytics. Developing proof of concepts as needed and conducting code reviews of APIs. Enhancing and managing API test tools, ensuring solutions conform to strategic architecture. Collaborating with infrastructure teams to ensure proper setup of servers, load balancers, firewalls, and monitoring systems. Assisting project teams with technical issues related to API design, performance, and gateway management. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science. At least 8 years of hands-on development experience. Minimum of 5+ years of experience with APIGEE. Experience in delivering applications through the entire SDLC process. At least 5 years of hands-on developer lead experience, leading teams of 5-10 developers. Good communication skills both in person and over the phone. Strong knowledge of Spring Framework components, Tomcat, JSON, Node.js, and REST services. Solid understanding of API design and API management. Experience with API Gateway solutions. Experience in QA testing and performance testing techniques. Experience working with infrastructure teams to set up servers, load balancers, firewalls, etc. Experience with various monitoring tools. Experience in production support. Understanding of OWASP, SAML, OAuth, SSL, and other security tools and technologies. Knowledge of enterprise architectures and integration tools and methodologies. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop innovative solutions.
