Location:
Augusta, ME (Hybrid - Minimum 50% Remote with Travel and Onsite Requirements)
Job Description: We are seeking a Client Technologies Specialist to join a technology vulnerability project supporting a large IT environment. This hybrid role requires hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, remote support, and Windows operating systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring system updates, patching, and remediation activities are completed accurately and documented thoroughly. A self-motivated professional with strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently will thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide desktop support, including hardware/software troubleshooting and remote remediation Install application updates and patches on end-user devices Troubleshoot and remediate operating system update failures Remove unsupported or vulnerable software from systems Ensure all activities are fully documented for audit and reference purposes Serve as a liaison with technical vendors when needed Follow and uphold established quality standards and security protocols Utilize remote support technologies and scripting tools to complete work Communicate status updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues as required
Required Qualifications:
Strong experience supporting Windows operating systems and applications Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong customer service skills and professionalism in end-user interactions Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and remote command-line troubleshooting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to document processes and issue resolutions clearly and accurately
Preferred Skills:
