Title: Administrative Assistant Contract
Client: Nonprofit Organization
Location: Washington, D.C.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule: 6-month contract
Work Day: Monday Friday
Aalis Management Consulting seeks a detail-orientedAdministrative Support Contractor to provide high-level coordination and organizational support for a nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute background materials.
- Create, maintain, and distribute meeting notes, action items, and shared milestones.
- Research and compile materials to support meetings, presentations, and conferences.
- Screen telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence.
- Respond to external inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with travel arrangements and logistics.
- Maintain, organize, and update physical and digital files.
- Serve as a liaison between internal offices and vendors, ensuring clear communication.
- Assist vendors with completing required institutional forms.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
- Must have 2 - 3 years of administrative, executive support, or office management experience.
- Intermediate proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) .
- Exceptional written communication skills, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Tact and diplomacy in resolving scheduling conflicts and managing stakeholder interactions.
