The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Senior IT Support Analyst to join our IT team as part of our financial services business in Delaware. Reporting to the Montreal Local IT Manager and a member of the global Information Technology team, the Senior IT Support Analyst will be responsible for the provision of local IT support, and rollouts of information technology initiatives that will drive operational efficiencies and provide new sources of competitive advantage for Maples Group. In a senior role, responsibilities will span the more complex level traditional application and desktop support responsibilities such as major incidents, problem tickets, escalations, advanced troubleshooting and providing the team guidance on technical issues and lead projects initiatives.
As part of our Delaware team you will:
providing technical desktop and application support to staff locally in Delaware and remotely in the North American offices; installing, configuring and maintaining PCs, printers and other peripheral devices; performing system administration tasks for in-house and generic applications, local Windows domain and telephony (phones, videoconference and voicemail); designing system functionality and re-engineering business processes by leveraging his/her understanding of the local and global business requirements and finding innovative solutions to system constraints; providing local change management for global initiatives, including the coordination of end-user testing, training and effectively communicating with stakeholders; assisting in the preparation of departmental budget and business plans involving purchasing new services, hardware, software and other IT suppliers; tracking IT assets (PC's, mobiles, etc.). What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
be familiar with the technology, tools and applications used by Maples Group; be able to effectively and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues, and when required, collaborate with other members of the Information Technology team to "dig deeper" in order to identify and implement complex solutions; be able to work independently to deliver project results on time and within budget; have at least 5 years work experience in Information Technology; MCP certification is preferred;
