Overview

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach in association with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando.

The pediatric hospitalist would be expected to:

1. Perform pediatric admissions to the dedicated Pediatric Floor
2. Conduct ED pediatric consults
3. Participate in daily family-centered rounding
4. Cover the Level 1 Newborn Nursery
5. Work approximately 15 12hr shifts per month

Our full commitment to pediatric care at AdventHealth Daytona Beach is displayed through our 14-bed pediatric unit, 10-bed Level 2 NICU, and dedicated pediatric emergency room service. AdventHealth for Children is nationally ranked in US News and World Report for Neonatology.

1. Board Certification/Eligibility through American Board of Pediatrics

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity that includes the benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Other benefits include occurrence-based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, 403b retirement plan, health insurance for physician and family, and relocation allowance.

Physician will be affiliated with AdventHealth Daytona Beach, a 362-bed hospital located in Daytona Beach, Florida. Our hospital offers award-winning services including a state-of-the-art BirthCare Center, Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center, and a Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our organization has received recognition for patient safety and quality of care.
