Buyer III - Aerospace Manufacturing

Oxnard, CA Work Model:
Fully On-Site Join a leading aerospace manufacturer as a Buyer III, where you'll play a key role in procurement and supply chain operations. This onsite position supports production by managing complex commodities, leading New Product Introductions (NPI), and ensuring timely delivery of materials in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Execute purchasing functions and manage MRP action messages Analyze bids, issue purchase orders, and negotiate supplier terms Monitor supplier performance and drive cost and quality improvements Collaborate cross-functionally to support production schedules Ensure compliance with procurement policies and government regulations Qualifications: BA/BS degree with 8+ years of aerospace buying experience, or 10+ years of related experience Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., castings, forgings, CNC, anodizing, heat treating) Strong communication, analytical, and Excel skills Ability to interpret technical documents and solve complex problems Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, HSA/FSA, and onsite refreshments.
