Minimum Hiring Annual Salary: $51,856.00
Maximum Hiring Annual Salary: $72,250.00
To attain the maximum hiring amount employee must have:
- Liberal Arts or Developmental Education Faculty Position: applicable Masters degree plus 36 credits (or an applicable terminal degree), plus 10 years of applicable work experience.
- Career Technical Education (CTE) Faculty Position: applicable Masters degree, plus 10 years of applicable work experience.

Full-Time, Faculty, 9-month Academic position – Health Science, Phlebotomy & Medical Assisting Faculty. This is a Full-Time, due process, benefited Faculty position beginning Fall, 2025.
The faculty member will conduct their assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College as stated in the school catalog. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. The faculty member is also responsible for professional development and service to the college.
Teaching & Professional Obligations:
- Interacting with students to provide opportunities to learn, creating conditions that facilitate learning, and using techniques and methods that create a high probability that learning will occur.
- Providing clear communication of information and promoting learning through an effective learning environment.
- Designing, sequencing, implementing, and presenting experiences which promote student learning (both in-person & online).
- Providing effective and high-quality instruction of subject being taught.
- Applying learning-centered educational practices such as creating and communicating clearly-defined outcomes for student learning.
- Using assessment data to improve instruction and learning.
- Maintaining office hours, turning in grades on time, and meeting assigned classes.
- Managing the classroom facility and keeping accurate attendance and grade records.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare related field; plus,
- Two (2) years working in a healthcare related field within that past five (5) years.
- (OR) Associates of Applied Sciences in Healthcare related field; plus 6,000 hours of experience in a healthcare clinical setting within the past five (5) years.
- Evidence of prior teaching/training in health occupation related area(s).
- Ability to teach using methodologies that support a student-centered learning environment.
- Computer literacy and the ability to use computer technology in classroom/lab instruction.
- A willingness to take classes in teaching methods, curriculum development, or other coursework deemed necessary.
- A positive attitude toward teaching courses in varied modalities, including online and traditional face-to-face.
- A pre-employment urine analysis will be required of the selected candidate.
- Hold or have the ability to obtain CPR Certification upon hire (AHA Healthcare Provider Level).
