The Recruiting Specialist will source, screen, and hire candidates for specific roles within OMS Group and its subsidiaries.
Business conduct must occur in accordance with OMS policies and procedures and be aligned with the goals of OMS.
Essential Functions:
- Your primary responsibilities will be to screen resumes against OMS and our client’s hiring criteria, to select candidates for interview and to conduct interviews.
- You will also be responsible to prepare offer letters and associated offer packages, compile candidate information into OMS databases, and to prepare applicant submittals for our client’s review and approval.
- You will track applicant review and approval status with our client and will liaise with our client, as necessary, to keep applicant approvals moving forward in a timely fashion.
- You will serve as OMS primary point of contact with our job applicants and will also be available to answer follow-up questions that our candidates have during the onboarding process.
- Assist the HR Manager with various, related HR tasks associated with new hire onboarding, employee orientation, compliance reporting and other HR functions.
- Navigate, maintain, and update OMS Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Acknowledge and participate in OMS H&S programs and trainings.
- Other duties as assigned by OMS or the client.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Four-year degree preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of recruitment or HR experience.
- Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Conduct a background check, drug screening, and physical exam.
Working Conditions:
Environmental Factors: Indoor and outdoor conditions; exposure to heat, cold, potentially hazardous chemicals, toxic materials. Noise level is usually moderate.

Ability to perform tasks during a typical 8+ hour workday.
