Role Overview
They are seeking a highly motivated Experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements within the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of investment banking experience, a strong background in FIG, and a keen interest in the insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities
Support M&A and capital markets transactions within the financial institutions sector, with a focus on insurance. Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis (DCF, precedent transactions, trading comps), and merger scenario assessments. Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and internal memos with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Perform industry research, competitive benchmarking, and financial analysis to support deal origination and execution. Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Assist in due diligence, documentation, and transaction execution. Qualifications & Skills
1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial role, preferably with exposure to FIG and insurance. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
