Exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated designer to lead the team. Work on expanding the Children’s wear brand as part of a growing team. The position is hybrid, involving both remote and in-office work. You will be responsible for creating designs from concept through to finished product, with experience designing your own graphics and prints. Job Description
Coordinate the design process from concept to execution with the team Identify upcoming trends and create innovative, on-trend concepts for children’s wear, including playwear, layette, and newborn Design initial graphics, prints, and establish color directions across all brands Translate ideas using CAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator Prepare product specs within design and costing budgets Create and present art trends and concepts to cross-functional teams Research emerging trends via trend services, trade shows, shopping, and social media Adhere to a design schedule aligned with the development calendar Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market strategies for each season Work with production to confirm assortment details and pricing targets Manage the approval process across fabrics, trims, and product categories in collaboration with production Maintain deadlines and ensure timely project completion Requirements
BA Degree in Fashion or Business At least 5 years of experience designing children’s, layette, playwear, and newborn apparel Detail-oriented with a keen eye for trends Proficiency in graphic design and CAD Strong skills in MS Office, Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator
