Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications. • Provide advanced production support and assistance to development staff in troubleshooting application issues with respect to the use of SWIFT, FIX, and Linux. Perform root cause analysis. • Installation, configuration, maintenance, debugging and resolving SWIFT Alliance product implementations and FIX (Appia, TradeScope, QuickFIX) on Linux. Maintain stability of the production environment. • Provide immediate support for production SWIFT Alliance implementations and Appia, QuickFIX software instances. • Participate in weekend on-call support rotations. • Work with development staff and teammates to architect implementation and support solutions. • Use of Jira, Bit Bucket, Ansible for project and software management. • Provide support for weekend implementations and Disaster Recovery tests. • Manage patching, upgrades and other various infrastructure operations on SWIFT and FIX servers. • Create and maintain clearly detailed system documentation and diagrams to be used as job aids and knowledge transfer material. Provide cross-training to team members. • Analyze system performance and capacity statistics. Provide recommendations. • Maintain, author and debug administrative utilities using shell programs (bash, perl). • Conformance to Incident, Change and Problem management policies and procedures. • Work both independently and in a Team as an energetic team member. • Lead, provide and implement automated solutions. • Recommend process and technological changes. • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately. • Effectively complete complex projects and installations within aggressive time frames and budget parameters. • Identify, define, and implement observability patterns across the SWIFT ecosystem our team maintains.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering. • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with SWIFT and FIX platforms. • Strong knowledge of SWIFT Alliance Access products and Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX. • Experience in supporting high volume SWIFT ISO 20022 traffic. • Working knowledge SWIFT messaging platforms • Good knowledge of SWIFT Alliance message routing • Good administrator knowledge of Linux and networking with good command over any scripting language such as Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
