Job Title: SAFe Agile Epic Delivery Manager Job Type: C2C Experience: 7 to 20 Years Location: Plano, Texas
Responsibilities SAFe Agile certification or extensive experience working in SAFe Agile environments. 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role with a focus on epic management and delivery. Proven ability to define, decompose, and drive the delivery of large-scale epics. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams. Experience with tools such as QuickBase (QB), Align, and other Agile portfolio management tools. Ability to analyze and understand customer needs, translating them into actionable insights and customer-centric solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver strategic outcomes. Experience working with lean portfolio management teams. Strong understanding of SAFe Agile principles and practices. Experience co-writing lean business cases and collaborating with technical teams to deliver epics. Define and decompose epics to ensure alignment with SPMs and feature delivery roadmaps. Own the epic throughout its lifecycle, ensuring delivery is on track and aligned with business objectives. Maintain accountability for epic delivery and ensure updates are communicated effectively to stakeholders. Serve as the epic owner in tools such as QuickBase (QB) and Align, partnering with SPMs and Solution Train Engineers (STEs) to drive epic delivery. Collaborate with TSM (Technical Solution Managers), business owners, and stakeholders to review, analyze, and refine epic ideas. Act as the primary point of contact for business needs, often co-writing lean business cases for submission to One List and Tech Enabler Front Doors. Explore and understand customer needs to develop holistic, customer-centric solutions. Partner with LPM (Lean Portfolio Management) teams and product teams to ensure solutions align with strategic goals and competitive advantages. Collaborate with TSMs to assess the viability of business needs. Work on submitting lean business cases for epics, ensuring they align with organizational goals and priorities. Qualification
