We are hiring a full-time Alcohol Compliance Officer to join our Food Services Team at the University of Arizona. The role involves overseeing alcohol compliance, monitoring sales, ensuring staff are certified, and maintaining safety standards. The position requires collaboration with team members, managing responsibilities during events, and possibly performing cashier duties. The role may include working nights and weekends, and physical activity is involved. Job Responsibilities
Verify staff certification and signatures before events. Monitor alcohol sales and enforce policies. Observe patrons for intoxication and coordinate with medical staff if needed. Complete nightly compliance reports. Fill in for absent staff as needed. Coordinate catering events and ensure timely delivery. Work occasional nights and weekends. Maintain communication with team via email, phone, and other channels. Perform cashier duties if required. Maintain positive public relations. Note: Duties may evolve based on location and business needs. Qualifications
Must be 21 years or older. Leadership skills and conflict resolution ability. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. TEAM/TIPS Alcohol certification (training provided if needed). Experience as a Compliance Officer or Manager. Knowledge of industry standards and legal regulations. Excellent communication and integrity skills. Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools. This role involves physical activity and outdoor work, possibly in uniform and PPE. Education
