Arcadia eFuels
will produce eFuels (eDiesel and eSAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) using renewable electricity and water to make Green Hydrogen and combine it with captured carbon dioxide then gas to liquids processing to produce the final fuels.
Arcadia eFuels is an innovative scale-up dedicated to transforming the aviation and long-haul shipping industry through producing synthetic eFuels with a net zero carbon footprint.
As a pre-revenue company, we are poised for rapid growth and expansion, with plans to establish manufacturing plants globally. At the development company level, we have successfully secured funding at the project entity level, our first project has received investor funding, and a second project entity has received a government grant.
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Arcadia eFuels’ team. The qualified individual will be responsible for the delivery, support, and deployment of complex project engineering solutions associated with the development and project execution of Arcadia PTL facilities. You will also support business review activities and projects in terms of scope, budget, schedule to achieve Arcadia’s objectives and targeted plan.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements from Arcadia previous executed projects, for scopes of work.
Provide tracking and scoping of project tasks including schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
Assess procurement processes throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.
Maintain strong HSE focus within the team to ensure HSE requirements are included in design and procurement.
Demonstrate full commitment to all health and safety matters and provide safety leadership to project team.
Proactively resolve performance, scope, and schedule issues with the Contractor as they arise.
Engage with project team that are affected by critical decisions, which may include contractors, service providers, associated entities, other industry analysts.
Regularly provide clear reports and presentations of supporting data to management and design team.
Identify and provide solutions to engineering and constructability issues.
Assist the Contractor in developing the scope of work according to goals set by Arcadia project team management.
Technical writing and reviewing of project paperwork.
Report to Arcadia Global projects director.
Manage external interfaces such as utility providers, services needed for the project.
Coordinate permitting activity on behalf of senior project management.
Travel Requirements: up to 25% of time.
Qualifications Bachelor’s in engineering, Digital Technology or related field from an accredited academic institution.
Experience
3 years of project engineering experience or significant practical experience from on-the-job training.
Experience with Planning tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc).
Experience deploying complex Digital solutions in an industrial environment is a plus.
Underground mining IT/OT experience is a plus.
Ability to cultivate, manage and develop positive relationships with internal and external project team members.
Highly developed written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills including facilitation and presentation capabilities.
Experience in early-stage startups.
