Public Trust We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll architect, deploy, and manage secure and scalable Azure-based cloud solutions. You’ll lead cloud infrastructure design, automation processes, and ensure high levels of security and compliance. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage complex Azure cloud environments Lead the development of infrastructure solutions (VMs, networking, storage, management) Optimize for performance, scalability, and cost Automate cloud deployments using Azure Automation, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to improve consistency and efficiency Ensure cloud security and compliance (Azure Security Center, Defender, Sentinel) Implement IAM, encryption, and network security controls Monitor and optimize cloud resources, troubleshoot issues Lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams Act as SME on Azure technologies Maintain cloud architecture documentation and prepare reports Stay updated on Azure innovations and recommend improvements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field 5+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience Expertise with Azure services (VMs, storage, networking, AAD, monitoring) Proficiency with automation tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform) Strong understanding of cloud security best practices Experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins) Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: ITIL v3/4 certification Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Security Engineer Associate Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), containerization, DevSecOps Candidate must live within 50 miles of one of the following NASA locations: NASA Headquarters:
