RECRUITMENT PLAN Posting Number: F002356 Academic Title: Faculty Positions in Stroke Neurology Rank: Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Instructor Administrative Title Discipline Clinical Medicine-MD Specialty: Stroke Neurology Contract Type: Non-Tenure Track, Renewable Appointment (initial appt period) - 03/01/24 - 6/30/25 Required Licenses/Certifications and other Specific Requirements: Criminal History Screening, Education/Degree/Certifications Verification, Social Security Number Trace, and Sex Offender Registry Search, Prior Employment Verification, This position requires a licensure, certification, or special requirements Proposed Start Date Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Position Description Summary The Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates ( MFA ), an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University ( GWU ), is seeking neurologists with specialized training in cerebrovascular disease.Non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) and salary commensurate with experience. Specific Duties And Responsibilities Responsibilities include providing patient care and teaching students, fellows, and residents in classroom and clinical settings. Opportunities are available to perform clinical research. Minimum Qualifications MD or equivalent degree. Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology, have completed fellowship training, and be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and/or Virginia, at the time of appointment. Applicants must provide evidence of excellence in clinical care and education.
