We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our rapidly growing and innovative law firm. You will primarily be dealing with the major car manufacturers where you will be litigating lemon law claims. Previous experience as a plaintiff's attorney, ideally in lemon law, product liability or consumer law is a big plus.

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our rapidly growing and innovative law firm. You will primarily be dealing with the major car manufacturers where you will be litigating lemon law claims. Previous experience as a plaintiff's attorney, ideally in lemon law, product liability or consumer law is a big plus.

Ideal candidates will have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Candidate should have strong advocacy skills and a competitive spirit. Active membership in the CA State Bar, in good standing, is required.

The job entails discovery, taking and defending depositions, appearances, vehicle inspections, creative litigation approaches and potentially trials & trial preparation.

• Draft motions
• Court appearances
• Vehicle inspections
• Negotiate settlements
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and respond to discovery
• Assess case value and strategy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a plaintiff's attorney
• Ability to handle an aggressive caseload
• Thorough and detailed organization skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and defense counsel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
