About This Role The Associate Director, Marketing – Digital & Social Media, Rare Disease - Friedreich Ataxia (FA), will be a key leader within the North American Organization. This role involves leading the digital and social media strategy and execution targeting HCP and patient/caregiver audiences. The focus is on creating impactful digital marketing campaigns to enhance understanding of the disease and treatment options through unbranded and branded content. This position requires collaboration with HCP and Patient marketing leads, digital development, and media partners. The candidate will utilize stakeholder insights, analytics, and emerging trends to craft digital experiences that deliver measurable outcomes. What You’ll Do Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives, focusing on engagement, awareness, and activation. Collaborate on digital content creation that is relevant and strategically aligned. Lead social media strategies to increase brand awareness, foster community engagement, and support patient education, including advertising, influencer strategies, and listening. Use analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies accordingly. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across channels. Establish social media governance frameworks for content approval, monitoring, and compliance. Identify and incorporate innovative social media tactics and participate in industry events to stay ahead of trends. Manage relationships with external agencies, overseeing scope, budget, and deliverables. Who You Are A results-driven digital marketing leader passionate about rare diseases, with strong strategic and execution skills, and adept at data-driven decision-making. Excellent communication, collaboration, and innovative thinking are essential. This role is hybrid, based out of Cambridge, MA, with 3 days onsite per week. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred. 7+ years in pharma/biotech, with 5+ years in digital & social media marketing. Proven experience in planning and executing digital campaigns across product lifecycle. Technical knowledge in social media management, digital channels, content strategy, and social listening. Experience managing agencies and content development teams. Strong communication, creativity, and strategic agility. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience in Rare Disease. Background on both agency and pharma/biotech sides. #J-18808-Ljbffr
