Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. This position offers flexible opportunities to work in a variety of settings based on your interests and strengths. Available settings include:

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate sensory, motor, feeding, and emotional regulation needs in pediatric clients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific goals.
Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, emotional regulation, and overall independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to therapy.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
Mentor and support fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Engage in family-centered care practices, involving parents and caregivers in the therapy process and providing resources and support as needed.
Specialize in areas of interest, such as feeding therapy, sensory integration, or emotional regulation, based on individual career goals and client needs.
Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapy programs, including our highly regarded feeding program.
Qualifications:
For Occupational Therapist (OTR):
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in Delaware.
Experience working with pediatric populations with a variety of disabilities preferred.
For Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA):
Associate's degree from an accredited COTA program.
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a COTA in Delaware.
Experience working with pediatric populations with a variety of disabilities preferred.
Additional Skills for Both Roles:
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
