A law firm seeks a qualified Corporate Attorney to join its team in Greenwich, CT. This position is suitable for candidates with three to five years of practice experience in corporate law, either in a law firm or as in-house counsel. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of commercial and business matters, providing counsel to a diverse range of clients. Duties Provide legal guidance on business formation and corporate governance matters. Deliver General Counsel services and ensure corporate compliance and housekeeping. Negotiate and draft various business contracts and agreements. Assist with business sales and acquisitions, providing strategic legal support. Manage commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases. Review and draft construction contracts for both residential and commercial projects. Conduct title, survey, and zoning reviews related to real estate transactions. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and support. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the relevant state Bar Association. 3 to 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney or in-house counsel. Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution. Certifications Active membership in the relevant state Bar. Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective client interaction. Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex legal issues. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented approach to legal documentation and client service. Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions is highly desirable. Schedule Full-time position, Monday to Friday. Work location: In-person at the Greenwich office.
