Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. Be part of an exciting build by joining the newly opening Breast High-Risk Program, whereby a team of specialized providers dedicated to breast cancer surveillance and prevention will provide risk assessment, counseling, genetic testing, risk reduction counseling, and surveillance to women at high risk of developing breast cancer in their lifetime. Prevention is the first step in cure this is truly an opportunity to make a difference!Competitive candidates will be enthusiastic about women?s health and cancer prevention and will work alongside genetic counselors and genetic counselor assistants, with other APPs dedicated to high-risk screening and surveillance, and under the direction of an MD medical director who will guide programming and outreach.Candidates must have a national Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification or must have a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or Master?s equivalent) from an ARC-PA accredited program and possess a Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as well as a Florida license, must be obtained by the date of hire.Schedule requirements are Monday thru Friday, 8 AM ? 5 PM, with no weekend or call expectations. This is a full-time clinical role with no OR or hospital rounding expectations. We offer competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience.
