Overview
The Service Manager at McSweeney Chevrolet GMC/ CDJR will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff and driving profitability by coordinating repairs, scheduling appointments, and resolving issues
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the service department.
Oversee scheduling and workflow of service technicians.
Ensure quality and timely completion of service repairs.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints.
Lead, mentor and develop the service team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranties and policies
Manage and control costs, working closely with Sales and Parts department
Establish and maintain relationship with factory representatives.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a managerial role in an automotive service department.
Experience with GM/Chevy & CDJR brands a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of automotive service repair processes.
Excellent customer service skills.
Maintain safe work environment
