Army Aviation Readiness - Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Overview of the Position:
ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an Army Aviation Readiness - Subject Matter Expert to provide supportive services for our government client. This position is on-site.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following: Communicate the client's Aviation's interests and priorities in Defense, Joint, Army, and Reserve Component discussions through written and verbal presentations in strategic forums, conferences, and working groups. Prepare decision and informational presentations, position papers, and other documents to aid in describing Aviation strategic issues, processes and force posture to senior level leaders. Develop a strategic communications plan for the client's Aviation, ensuring approval from leadership before submission to Congress. Provide expertise on the Aviation Restructure Initiative (ARI), including its history, analysis, and political considerations, to support leaders in defending long-term aviation restructuring plans. Develop and integrate strategic concepts that align manpower, equipment, training, modernization, policies, funding, and political considerations into cohesive policies and guidance for approval. Develop and recommend strategies to transition the client's Aviation from a state-based to an organizational-based readiness model, ensuring preparedness for combat operations, strategic exercises, and domestic response. Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen. Must have an active Top Secret security clearance. Working knowledge of aviation operations, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, and familiarity with planning and implementation of aviation restructuring initiatives. Knowledge of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Process (PPBE), resource management, force readiness, and Defense Support to Civil Authorities. Ability to translate strategies into actionable and measurable strategic plans that synchronize and monitor the Aviation Enterprise. Must have Lieutenant Colonel level experience (or equivalent) and staff experience at the HQDA / Army Service Component Command (ASCC) / Corps level (or equivalent) with direct knowledge related to military aviation operations.
