Position Summary:

Responsible in supporting the Nurse Director and Department Manager of the Pediatric Department to manage and coordinate clinical operations to provide patient care to the pediatric population. Ensures all aspects of documentation care planning and patient care delivery meets regulatory requirements. Responsible for fostering and facilitating a positive interactive team and optimal environment for all activities ensuring orientation competency and quality patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-2 years of acute med-surg experience required or hired through the RN Versant program.
• Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
• Ability to work with pediatric patients of all ages (i.e. from infancy to late teenage years) parents/caregivers and members of the healthcare team.
• CA RN and current BLS and PALS required. PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous PICU experience preferred.
• Bachelors degree preferred.
