Were now hiring for several roles in our Before and After School Programs for the 2025 2026 school year, with openings across Dutchess and Putnam Counties. Available opportunities span the following school districts: Wappingers Central, Arlington Central, Hyde Park Central, Beacon City, Haldane Central, and Mahopac Falls Central.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt POSITIONS OPEN: Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, and Directors HOURS: Morning and/or afternoon shifts apply for either or both PAY RATE: $15.50 $18.00/hour (based on role, experience, and qualifications)
Our Before and After-School Program team focuses on:
Facilitating interactive, hands-on activities in line with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, group games, and homework help. Ensuring a safe, fun, and supportive environment while being a positive role model for children. Keeping parents and guardians informed daily via the Playground App. Following state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and school district guidelines. Depending on your role, responsibilities may also include managing attendance, assisting with staff scheduling, and overseeing registration.
Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Youre 18+ and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children under 13 is great but not required passion and potential go a long way! Youre medically cleared and free from communicable diseases, including TB. You're positive, friendly, and great with people kids, families, and coworkers alike. Youre also reliable, professional, and punctual. You're physically ready to lift, bend, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and keep pace with energetic kids!
