Position Overview The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.
Schedule:
Full-time Mid Shift - 7AM-3PM Tuesday-Saturday (5 Shifts per week & holidays as assigned.)
How Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) Empower Recovery •Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support to residents at mealtimes and snacks •Supports residents during structured outings and recreation •Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment •Monitors and documents exercise •Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
Qualifications •High school diploma or GED required •Mental health experience preferred •Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive •Previous direct mental health experience preferred
