Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS Job Details 4 day work week Monday - Friday Varied Shifts (8 Hours) Job Requirements 18 months Endoscopy experience ERCP, EUS, EBUS, Bronchoscopy, EGD and colonoscopy, food bolus Biopsy and specimen collection Scope washing and reprocessing experience Schedule Information Day Shift – RN will work 7a-3:30p (5 days 1 week, 4 days 2nd week) call requirement Night Shift – on call only Every 4TH weekend on call (48 hrs/weekend) 4 weeknight shifts every 4 weeks (1530-0700) Unit Specific Information Typical procedures performed on unit(s): EUS, ERCP, EBUS, Bronch, EGD, Colonoscopy, food bolus, GI bleed, fecal transplant Additional Details Unit Information: ENDOSCOPY Location: Reston, VA Address: 1850 Town Center Parkway Number of Beds – 2 procedure rooms, 1 lithotripsy room, 1 eye laser room Number of Staff – 6 Type of staff: 4 RNs/2 Endo techs Patient Ratios – 1 circ 1 scrub in every case. 1 RN in litho cases. 1 RN for eye lasers. Type of equipment – Olympus scopes, Medivator washer system. Lumenis eye laser. Meditech EHR. EMR – Meditech for circulator. Provation for some scheduling.
